Jim has over 35 years experience within the fmcg field with Proctor & Gamble and the Mars Corporation. Previous roles include directorships with Adidas, Managing Director of Scholl (sold to Seton Healthcare). European MD of Iams Petfood (sold to P&G) and M.D. of SCA, during which time he was responsible for the launch of Tena Lady – the first female incontinence pad range marketed globally through retail channels.

Jim was previously Director General of the U.K. Paper Manufacturers and has extensive contacts with senior personnel within S.G.A., P&G and Kimberly Clark

Alison Kibble BA – CEO

Alison graduated with a BA (Oxon) in Biochemistry in 1992 and has significant experience in the healthcare sector. Alison was previously CEO of Molecular Sensing plc. She oversaw the successful development and licensing of part of its technology to Roche before eventual sale of the business in 2004 to Osmetech plc, at 95% premium to its market cap.  Alison was previously Sales Director of eLabseurope Limited, where she set up and managed its UK and Scandinavian operations. Prior to this she was UK Managing Director of Quantum Appligene (April 1998 - December 1999) and has held senior management positions at Lifescreen Limited (1997 - 1998) and R&D Systems Europe (1992 - 1997). As well as holding a BA, Alison holds a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Julia H. Herbert Grad. Dip. Phys. MCSP.– Clinical Director

Julia Herbert is a Specialist Continence Physiotherapist with 20 years experience of working in this speciality. Julia is currently a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist employed by Bolton Primary Care NHS Trust working as a member of a multi-professional Integrated Continence Team. She also runs a specialist private practice treating bladder and bowel dysfunction, providing freelance training and consultancy services and her practice is based in Manchester.

Julia is a member of the International Continence Society (ICS), ICS (UK), the Association for Continence Advice (North West Region secretary), and the Association for Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health and was a founding member and past chairman of Chartered Physiotherapists Promoting Continence (CPPC).

Julia has written a number of articles and features in three videos on the subject of incontinence, she has also given presentations and lead workshops at conferences and meetings both in the UK and internationally. Julia has made numerous appearances on television and radio to promote continence, the most notable being the broadcast on the national BBC 2 network, a piece about stress incontinence on ‘Trust me I’m a Doctor’ (1999).


Adrian Wight  MBA, BSc - Technical Director

Adrian led a number of companies and has a strong track record of industrial marketing and business development, backed by sound operational, project management and financial skills. Adrian was previously MD of Acoutechs Limited, leading the start up and then market entry of new technology acoustics materials. Prior to this Adrian was Director and General Manager of Durham Tube Ltd where he managed a turnaround in declining sales and a relocation of the company. He has also worked for Senior Heat Treatment Limited (Director 1996-1998 – increased sales 10% per annum in mature market), Bradford Innovation Centre (1995-1996 – Start up team member), FTL Company Ltd (MD 1988-1995 – grew sales from £2.5M to £7.5M), Plessey Company plc (1967-1988)
